Katsina State Governor Sacks Commissioner for Youth and Sports

Katsina State Governor, Malam Umar Dikko Radda approved the immediate termination of the appointment of the Commissioner for Sports, Hon. Abdu Abu Dan Kum, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Umar Dikko also ordered reconstitution of the management of Katsina United with immediate effect. 

"Katsina State Governor Malam Umar Dikko Radda Sacks Commissioner of Youth and Sports. Ordered of reconstitution of the management of Katsina United with immediate effect." A Sports journalist based in Katsina State made it available to www.bsnsports.com.ng.

The sack of the Sports Commissioner, though not made known as at the time of filing this report but may not be unconnected with poor performance of the state's football team, Katsina United.

Katsina United have not performed excellently well in the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League, just two steps ahead of the relegation waters with 14 points in 12 games. Bayelsa United who have same 14 points are in relegation zone.
