Kenya Pipeline Secure Bronze At CAVB Women's Club Championship

Kenya Pipeline secured the bronze medal at the 39th CAVB Women’s African Volleyball Club Championship with a commanding 3-0 (28-26, 25-14, 25-18) victory over CF Carthage of Tunisia on Saturday evening in Abuja.

The win marks Pipeline’s eighth bronze medal in the history of the competition and brings their overall medal count at the continental championship to 21.

Pipeline started the match on strong footing, edging out Carthage in a closely contested first set. Smart serving and solid teamwork gave them the edge in the closing moments to take the set 28-26.

Buoyed by their opening set win, the Kenyan side came out with renewed confidence in the second set. With sharp coordination and tactical adjustments, Pipeline outplayed their opponents in every department, cruising to a 25-14 win and a 2-0 lead.

The third set showcased Pipeline’s depth and experience. Excellent court coverage, strategic tips, and well-placed attacks kept them ahead. As the team’s communication and synergy improved, they maintained momentum and closed out the match with a 25-18 win.
