Kwara United Adopt Mobolaji Johnson Arena For CAF Confederation Cup

After the Ilorin Township Stadium failed to make the final cut, Nigeria Professional Football League side Kwara United have decided to play the CAF inter-club competition in Lagos, BSNsports.com.ng report.

African soccer ruling body earlier in August announced stadiums that will be allowed to stage CAF matches and Ilorin stadium was missing.

The Afonja Warriors are among the four clubs that will represent the country in the inter-club competitions especially in the confederation cup after they finished in the 4th position last season.

According to the report coming from Ilorin, the team has adopted Mobolaji John Arena in Lagos as their home ground for the confederation cup.

Remo Stars is another club that will represent the country in the confederation Cup while Champions Rivers United and runners-up Plateau United will campaign in the champions league.
