Kwara United Bounce Back As Plateau United Pick Away Victory In Ogun State

Remo Stars suffered a 2–1 home defeat to Plateau United in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 24 fixture on Monday.

The visitors took the lead in the 29th minute through Jonathan Okechukwu, before Remo Stars drew level shortly after the hour mark when Liberia international Albert Korvah found the back of the net. However, Plateau United sealed a dramatic victory in stoppage time as Harrison Ebah struck late to hand his side all three points.

The result extended Plateau United’s unbeaten run to five league matches.

In Ilorin, Kwara United returned to winning ways with a narrow 2–1 victory over Warri Wolves. Saheed Olaniyi was the standout performer, scoring both goals for the hosts, while Peter Ita netted the lone goal for Warri Wolves.

Meanwhile, at the Sani Abacha Stadium, FC Barau edged Ikorodu City 1–0. Uche Moses scored the decisive goal in the 28th minute to secure maximum points for FC Barau.
