Kwibuka T20: Botswana Shock Nigeria

Nigeria's Female Yellow Green suffered a shocking defeat at the ongoing Kwibuka T20 women's championship to Botswana on Thursday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side started the competition on a promising not note winning their first 3 games before losing to Uganda and the host Rwanda.

They faced Botswana who is yet to win any game in the championship on Thursday and suffered a defeat to the utmost surprise of everyone.

The game played at the Gahanga Cricket Oval in Kigali was keenly contested but it was Botswana that secured its first win of the championship by 22 runs.

The breakdown of the result shows that Nigeria has 91/8 ( 20 Overs) to Botswana's 114/4 ( 20 Overs) which means that the Southern African country won by 22 runs.
