Actions commenced in Kigali, Rwanda in the Kwibuka T20 Women tournament and it was a good outing for the Team Nigeria women cricket team, BSNsports.com.ng reports.


The Nigeria side who arrived Rwanda on Wednesday was scheduled to face Team Brazil in the third match of the day.


The game which was played at the Gahanga Oval witnessed the debutant Brazil dominating the game but it was Nigeria that carried the day by limiting the South Americans to 53 runs and 15.2 overs and eventually won by 8 wickets.


Nigeria's Abdulrazaq was also superb, taking out four wickets—a bowling stats of 3.2-0-9-4. Good start for the 17-year-old. 


In the first two matches host Rwanda lost to Uganda by 6 wickets while Kenya beat Botswana by 35 runs.
