LMC: NPFL Transfer Window Active August 1st

Ahead of the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League season, the League Management Company( LMC) has announced date for the first transfer window, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

The 2021/2022 football season came to end a few weeks ago with Rivers United emerging the winner of the league after they garnered 77 points in 38 matches.

The football body on Wednesday announced August 1st to September 30th as the date for the first transfer window for the new season.

Around that period clubs will be allowed to recruit and reinforce their teams ahead of the new season.

The kick-off date of the league has been tentatively announced to be in September and will run through mid-year 2023.
