LOSC Lille Completes Akpom Transfer

After completing discussions and negotiations, French Ligue 1 club LOSC Lille has finalized the transfer of Nigerian forward Chuba Akpom, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Akpom previously moved to Ajax Amsterdam in the Eredivisie after a successful stint with English Championship side Middlesbrough.

However, the former Arsenal player has struggled to secure a consistent spot in the starting lineup at the Dutch club.

Despite interest from several English clubs, Lille has secured Akpom on a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the current season.

This move provides Akpom with the exciting opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League this season.
