La Liga: Sadiq Injured In Real Sociedad Loss To Getafe

It was a day to forget for Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Sadiq Umar as he sustained an injury in Real Sociedad's away defeat to Getafe, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The Nigeria international joined the side this summer and he has proved vital for the club in the three matches he has played.

The former UD Almeria attacker was in action on Thursday as the Spanish side defeated Manchester United 0-1 at Old Trafford in the UEFA Europa League.

He started the game on Sunday as Sociedad played away to Getafe and he lasted for 37 minutes before he was replaced by Ali Cho.
