La Liga: Sadiq Umar Earns Real Sociedad A Point, Scores On His Debut

Newly acquired Super Eagles striker Sadiq Umar lived up to expectations as he secured a valuable point draw for his club Real Sociedad, scoring on his debut against Atletico Madrid BSNsports.com.ng understands.

The lanky attacker joined the Spanish side on Transfer Deadline Day to strengthen the team's attack after the sale of Alexander Isak to Newcastle United.

Alvaro Morata put the away side ahead in the 5th minute to end the first half in their favour.

The Nigeria international started the day from the bench and his introduction in the 55th minute changed the face of the game.

He netted the second goal of the game in the 77th minute and it was ruled offside as the host plays out a 1-1 draw.

Sadiq has now scored three goals this season having scored twice for UD Almeria before moving to Real Sociedad.
