It was a sweet return for Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo on Monday evening as CD Leganes rallied back from a 0-2 down to a 3-2 win over CF Fuenlabrada, BSNsports.com.ng can report



Former Chelsea defender has been out of action for the club due to injury but returned to full training just before the Qatar 2022 World Cup playoff against Black Stars of Ghana.


He was at the heart of Legane's defence as they went down 0-2 in the early part of the game.


Leganés closed the gap in the 20th minute through Qasmi, off an assist from Randjelovic to make it 1-2 before the break.


The host equalized through Javi Hernández, with an assist from Arnaiz to make it 2-2 before Jose Arnaiz made it 3-2 and sealed maximum points for Leganes.


Omeruo is expected to continue at the centre of the team defence when they face Real Oviedo by weekend
