Labbadia Rejects Super Eagles Job Over Wage Issues

German coach Bruno Labbadia has made a surprise u-turn on his decision to coach the Super Eagles less than one week to the AFCON 2025 qualifying double header against Benin and Rwanda, reports BSNSports.com.ng.
His decision is coming bearly three days the Nigeria Football Federation announced that it had reached an agreement with German tactician to become the Head Coach of Nigeria’s senior men national team. NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, said in the early hours of Tuesday: “The NFF Executive Committee has approved the recommendation of its Technical and Development Sub-Committee to appoint Mr. Bruno Labbadia as the Head Coach of the Super Eagles. The appointment is with immediate effect.” According to German tabloid Kicker, "Labbadia has halt talks with Nigeria after contract negotiations stalled (despite already announcing him as manager)."
