It will be a titanic battle as the semi-finals of the Lagos Supremacy Cup get underway on Friday at the Legacy Pitch, National Stadium, Surulere, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The quartet of Tripple 44, Dino SC, Mavlon, and 36 Lion booked their places in the last four after picking impressive results on Thursday, as 23 goals were scored on Day 3 of the Lagos Supremacy Cup at the Campus Mini Stadium.

Tripple 44 will be having their hands full in the first semis against Mavlon billed for 7 am, while Dino SC will hope to cage 36 Lion in the second game at 8:10 am.

Proceedings on Thursday had 3-star Charles Agada marvel for Mavlon against Corinthians. In-form Agada was ruthless with three goals for Mavlon who humbled the away team 3-1, while Jacob Emmanuel banged the only goal for Corinthians.

With the result, Mavlon picked their spot in the semi-final with six points from three games. They placed second with a goal difference of +2.

Elsewhere, Imperial annihilated Dosu Joseph Football Club 4-0 while FC Bethel drew 2-2 against DN10.

It was a painful one for Ikorodu City as they fell short despite a brace from Oyedokun Tosin, Ikorodu City drew 2-2 with Tripple 44 and crashed out of the tournament.

Adewale Adekunle and Oladeji Israel found the back of the net for Tripple 44.

Both teams finished with five points but Tripple 44 qualified for the semi-final thanks to a superior goal difference of +2. 

City had +1 and couldn't pick the spot for the best second-placed team as they were edged out by Mavlon.

Dino SC joined the semi-final train, as they condemned Broad City to a 3-1 defeat. An early goal from Stephen Ende and Ogonna Okoro's brace disorganized Broad City.

Oladele Razaq scored a face-saving goal for Broad City who weren't at their fluid best.

36 Lion got the better off as they beat SGFC Athletics 2-1 to finish the pool on top with 9 points.

Azuka Alanta and Seun Lawal registered 36 Lions goals, while Adeshina Akande was the goalscorer for SGFC Athletics.
