Leeds United Plots Move For Super Eagles Striker

Nottingham Forest are encouraging Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis to find himself a new club.

Forest won't stand in the Nigerian way if he finds a new team, says the Mirror.

Relegated Premier League club Leeds United are keen and talks are about to commence.

Leeds boss Daniel Farke sees Dennis as a replacement for Spain international Rodrigo who left Leeds for Al-Rayyan last week.

Leeds United are in desperate need of reinforcements ahead of their Championship campaign starting in a few weeks and now a new update has emerged on a potential transfer target.

The Whites are set to lose a lot of players following their relegation from the Premier League, which is another reason why they are weighing up a move for the Nigeria international.

Forest paid a reported Â£20million to sign Dennis from Watford last summer following his impressive 2021-22 campaign in the Premier League for the Hornets.

He notched 10 goals and six assists in 33 top-flight appearances for the Hertfordshire club but could not prevent their relegation to the Championship.

Dennis has struggled to recapture that form in a Nottingham Forest shirt.

The striker equipped with blistering pace, whose contract at the City Ground runs until June 2026, has managed just two goals and three assists in 25 appearances since his 2022 move.
