German Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen says they will take a decision following Victor Boniface's reckless driving, reports BSNSports.com.ng.
In a video shared by a well-known Nigerian rapper, Boniface can be seen driving at 140 km/h on a road with a speed limit of 120 km/h. In addition, while driving, the player was also looking at his mobile phone.
The video was reportedly shot shortly before the Champions League match between Bayer Leverkusen and RB Salzburg on Tuesday.
The injured striker did not take part in the match.
Bayer Leverkusen responded to the new incident in the columns of Bild: " We will examine and verify the matter. If the incident is confirmed, we will speak to Victor as soon as possible. This is not just about a model; it is essentially about not putting yourself in danger and not putting other road users in danger."
