Abdul Hakim Al-Shalmani, a member of the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football, says Libya will file a complaint against ValueJet Tunisian pilot over what they perceived as false statement regarding what happened, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Regarding the events that took place on arrival of Nigeria's charter jet, the Nigerian team submitted a testimony from the Tunisian pilot (of ValueJet) who claimed to have witnessed some of the events.

Al-Shalmani described this testimony as false and slanderous.

"The pilot provided testimony that served his personal interests instead of adhering to diplomatic relations between the two neighboring countries, Libya and Tunisia."

Al-Shalmani stressed that: "This false testimony and will not pass without legal follow-up, as an official memorandum of complaint will be filed against the Tunisian pilot.

" This violates the rules of integrity and honesty.”
