Super Eagles winger Moses Simon was on target for Paris FC, but his effort was not enough as the newly promoted side fell 5-2 to Olympique Marseille in a Ligue 1 clash on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Simon, who joined Paris FC this summer after leaving FC Nantes as a free agent, continued to show his quality despite the heavy loss.

Marseille raced into an early lead through Mason Greenwood and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang inside 25 minutes. Paris FC pulled one back in the 28th minute through Kebal, before Simon struck a superb equalizer in the 58th minute to silence the Velodrome crowd.

However, the hosts regained control as Aubameyang netted again, with Holberg and Vas adding further goals to seal a comprehensive win for Marseille.
