Lobi Stars Appoint Bala Nikyu as Technical Adviser

Lobi Stars have appointed experienced coach Bala Nikyu as their new Technical Adviser ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria National League (NNL) season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Makurdi-based club has entrusted Nikyu with the task of guiding the team back to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) after narrowly missing promotion last season.

Nikyu, who boasts vast coaching experience in Nigerian football, is expected to strengthen the team's technical setup as Lobi Stars intensify preparations for the new campaign.

The former NPFL side will be aiming to secure one of the promotion tickets from the NNL and make an immediate return to the top flight under the guidance of their new technical adviser.
