Lobi Stars Will Approach NPFL Second Stanza Differently, Says Agagbe

By Precious Oham

Lobi Stars Head Coach, Eugene Agagbe said they will approach the second half of the 2023/2024 NPFL season differently, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Agagbe, who appreciated his boys for the important victory in the game with Plateau United, noted that the second half of the league will be a different phase.

"I thank my boys immensely for playing well in this first stanza and ending the phase on top of the log. We will continue to work hard because the second stanza will be a different phase so we will be coming in with a different approach in order to do better than what we did in the first round," he maintained.

The former Super Eagles striker also advised his players to make judicious use of the break by resting very well so as to recover fully and return with renewed vigour for the final phase of the season.

The Pride of Benue sit majestically on top going into the first-round break with 36 points, one point above second-placed Remo Stars.

The hard-fought victory over regional rivals also means Lobi Stars ended the first stanza without suffering any home loss.
