Lookman: Atalanta To Offer €3 Million Yearly Salary Plus One-Year Extension

Atalanta is set to retain Super Eagles striker Ademola Lookman beyond 2027, reports BSNSports.com.ng.
According to 'TMW', Atalanta's management is considering extending his contract, which is currently set to expire in 2027, by an additional year, while also increasing his salary to €3 million starting next season (up from his current salary of €1.8 million).
This decision reflects the club's commitment to keeping Lookman central to their future plans.
After returning to action on September 21st during the final minutes of the Torino-Atalanta match, Lookman missed the subsequent match against Juventus but participated in the following two games against Club Brugge and Atalanta.
He also represented Nigeria in their 2-1 victory against Lesotho on October 10th. As of now, the striker has yet to score this season; his last goal was on May 12th during Atalanta's 2-1 victory over Roma.
For the past two consecutive summers, Lookman was on the verge of leaving Atalanta. However, the Bergamo club managed to fend off offers from PSG in 2024 and from Inter just a few months ago.
With the Nigerian international back in the lineup, the club appears ready to finalize the deal by proposing a renewal of his existing contract.
