Lookman Is An Asset – Atalanta Boss

Atalanta manager Raffaelle Palladino has hailed Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman, describing him as a key asset to the Serie A club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Lookman has returned to top form in recent weeks, scoring twice in Atalanta’s last two matches as the club continues its push for success this season.

Speaking about the Super Eagles forward, Palladino expressed admiration for his attitude and work ethic.

“With Lookman, I did exactly what I did with the rest of the team: I spoke individually. A few words were enough, because he’s an intelligent guy who understands immediately,” the coach said.

Palladino revealed that both he and Lookman share the same ambitions for the club.

“I was clear, he was very clear with me: we’re going in the same direction because we both want to take Atalanta as high as possible.”

The manager also highlighted Lookman’s defensive discipline, not just his attacking output.

 “He’s having a strong offensive phase, but I emphasize his defensive commitment: he’s 100% in the game. I’m happy for his goals; he’s an essential asset.”

Lookman will hope to continue his impressive form as Atalanta pushes for a strong finish in the league and European competition.
