Lookman Set To Leave In The Summer

Following Atalanta's elimination from the Champions League, tensions have risen between head coach Gian Piero Gasperini and forward Ademola Lookman, the Nigerian is expected to leave the club during the summer transfer window, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Gasperini referred to Lookman as the worst penalty taker at the moment, which prompted Lookman to respond on social media, countering the coach's remarks.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Lookman has been contemplating a departure from Atalanta this summer.
The club is expected to have discussions regarding Gasperini's strong comments about Lookman soon, although this conversation is not expected to change the player's future with the team.
Furthermore, it has been reported that Lookman also considered leaving the club in the summer of 2024, especially with Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain linked to a potential move for the Nigerian forward after he was dropped from a match at the end of the summer transfer window.
