In a bold move following a heated exchange with coach Ivan Juric, Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman has unfollowed Atalanta across all social media platforms and wiped any mentions of the club from his account, BSNSports.com.ng has sourced.

The incident occurred during the Champions League match against Olympique Marseille when Lookman was substituted in the second half.

His visible frustration at being taken off sparked a confrontation, with Juric grabbing his arm and shouting in indignation.

Lookman was on the verge of responding before being steered away to the bench by staff members.

Juric attempted to downplay the situation in a press conference, stating, “These things happen. You talk and exchange views, you open up, and the rapport becomes better than it was before. Ademola is a particular kind of guy. It’s all sorted; we just move on and shrug it off.”

However, Lookman's actions speak volumes, as he has chosen to sever ties with the club online, indicating that he does not share the same mindset as his coach.
