Maduabuchukwu Attracts Interest From Npfl, European Clubs

Nigerian football’s rising star, Maduabuchukwu Onah, is drawing significant interest both locally and internationally following an impressive season in the Nationwide League One (NLO), with Fedan FC, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The rock-solid defender gained prominence in the 2026 Nationwide League One (NLO) Division One, helping Fedan FC to a mid-table finish at Alade Stadium Centre.

Despite being an emerging talent, Maduabuchukwu was one of the standout centre-backs, providing an assist in a 6-1 thrashing of VINOD FC on MatchDay six of the season.

His defensive quality and ability to stop attacks in one-on-one situations earned him praise from fans at the Alade Stadium Centre.

In addition to local interest in Maduabuchukwu by clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League, foreign clubs in Asia are also reportedly monitoring the defender.

Reports suggest that two European clubs—one based in Central Europe and another from an undisclosed European nation—have expressed interest in giving him trials.
