Maduka Okoye Hails New Watford FC Boss

Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has heaped praise on the newly appointed Watford FC manager Rob Edward, BSNsports.com.ng understand


Edward was named as the new gaffer of the Hornets towards the tail end of last season after their manager Roy Hodgson confirmed his departure.


Okoye who was signed last winter transfer finally resumed training with the club this week under the new manager.


The Nigeria international said he has read about him and all that was confirmed when he met him


“My first impressions of him are very good. I was reading a lot about him before I met him, and then this week in person it was even better. He took a lot of time to talk to all of us, he has time for all of us," he said.


Okoye missed Nigeria's Super Eagles 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe due to injury.
