Maduka Okoye Signs Contract Extension With Udinese

Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has signed a contract extension with the Italian Serie A side Udinese, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The club, via its social media handle on Tuesday afternoon, announced that the Nigerian International has signed a 4-year extension. Okoye joined Udinese from the English championship side Watford FC last season, and he has become a household name in Serie A. Several top clubs indicated interest in his service following his superlative performance against the top Italian teams last season. He was in goal for the club last weekend during the opening game of the season.
