Maikunkele United Chairman Confirms Team Exit From Nigeria National League

Maikunkele United chairman, Shuaibu Yakubu has confirmed the Jos based club's withdrawal from participating in the forthcoming Nigeria National League (NNL), BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

According to Yakubu, the reason for the withdrawal is in the best interest of the club.

While urging the fans to bear with the situation, he said the club will however take part in the Nationwide League One (NLO) in the coming season.

Maikunkele United were draw in the Northern Conference B for the 2023/24 Nigeria National League (NNL) season, alongside Malumfashi FC, 

City FC, Mailantarki Care FC, Jigawa Golden Stars, Hypbuzz FC, Adamawa United, Sokoto United, Kebbi United and Rhabam FC.
