The Malian women’s team, popularly known as the Aigles Dames, delivered a composed and dominant performance on the fifth and final day of the qualifying tournament, underlining their growing stature on the international stage.

Their qualification was further confirmed following Belgium’s win over the Czech Republic, a result that mathematically secured Mali’s place at the global showpiece.

Over the course of five matches, Mali recorded two victories, reflecting steady progress and resilience throughout the qualifiers. While the campaign showcased the team’s potential, it also highlighted areas requiring improvement as they prepare to compete against the world’s elite, particularly in tactical execution and physical conditioning.

With their place now assured, Mali joins the nations that will represent Africa at the tournament in Berlin. Attention now shifts to preparations, as the Aigles Dames aim to build on this achievement and make a strong impression on the world stage.
