Mané’s Moment of Magic Sends Senegal To AFCON Final

Senegal booked their place in the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations after a narrow victory powered by a decisive goal from talisman Sadio Mané, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In a closely contested semifinal, chances were limited in the opening half as both sides struggled to find a breakthrough, heading into the interval deadlocked at 0–0.

The moment of quality arrived in the second half when Mané, the former Liverpool forward, produced a superb long-range effort that curled into the bottom corner of the net. The strike proved decisive, once again seeing Mané get the better of his former club teammate Mohamed Salah in a high-profile encounter.

Senegal now await the winner of the second semifinal between Nigeria and Morocco, with the final scheduled to take place next Sunday at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium.
