The Red Devils have made two summer signings so far in left-back Tyrell Malacia and free agent Christian Eriksen, and it certainly looks as if more midfielders are high on Erik ten Hag’s wishlist.

After Eriksen’s move to Old Trafford on a three-year deal was confirmed, United remain on the hunt for Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong, having apparently agreed on a fee with the Catalan club.

It could well be a busy few weeks off the pitch ahead of the new season, and it seems as if United hold an interest in another midfielder in Chukwuemeka.

TalkSPORT provided an update regarding Chukwuemeka’s future on Thursday. They claim that Villa have placed a £20m price tag on the 18-year-old, who is attracting interest from United, Barcelona, Manchester City and Newcastle.

Villa have left Chukwuemeka out of their pre-season tour to Australia due to his situation as he enters the final 12 months of his Villa Park deal.
