Manchester United Defender Names Ex-Super Eagles Winger As His Toughest Opponent

Despite facing more skilful and intelligent players, Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has named former Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Victor Moses as his toughest opponent, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Apart from meeting at the youth level, Shaw while with Southampton faced Moses again and Chelsea prevailed 5-1.

“People always think I’m joking, but one of my hardest games ever was against Moses when I was coming in as a 17-year-old at Southampton.

“Maybe because I was so young. He was really quick, direct, and strong and that was a challenge for me.

“I’ve played against the likes of Bale, Messi and Hazard, and they were all so good, but I always remember Moses as a really tough opponent as well", he told talksport.
