Two-time FIFA U-17 World Cup-winning coach, Manu Garba has charged Nnduka Ugbade's Golden Eaglets to show Nigeria's never say die winning attitude against Ivory Coast, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Eaglets lock horns against their Ivorian counterparts at 4pm Nigeria time, in first semi-final match of the ongoing WAFU B U-17 Championship in Cape Coast, Ghana.

Manu, who's rated as one of the best Nigerian coach that has won laurels at the cadet level, said in a pep talk to the Eaglets and their coaches prior to the game.

"Wishing us good luck, a victorious outing and injury free match. Regards to the coaches and players and tell them (players) to exhibit total commitment, confidence, concentration and dominate the game by showing our never say die winning mentality.

"A game is never won until the final whistle is blown.

"Good luck Nigeria Golden Eaglets. Nigerians are waiting to see us in the AFCON U-17 in Algeria and God willing we shall win."

The Eaglets, who are five-times World Champions, displayed a good run in the tourney after they flogged arch rival Ghana’s Black Starlets 4-2 in the tournament opener and then eased past Togo’s Young Sparrow Hawks 3-1 to finish as Group A winners.

While the Ivorians finished as runners-up of Group B, dominated by Burkina Faso’s Young Etalons.

Victory in today's encounter will send the Eaglets into the final and with an opportunity to reclaim the WAFU B U-17 title they won in Niamey, Niger Republic four years ago.
