Manu Garba Names Squad For 2024 WAFU 17 Championship

Barely a week to the start of the 2024 U17 WAFU Championship, the head coach of Nigeria's Golden Eaglets Manu Garba has released the final list of players, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The team had been in camp at the Goal project in Abuja under the tutelage of Garba and they've also engaged in a series of friendly games.

The coach on Friday afternoon named the players that will represent the country in a competition slated for Accra, Ghana.

For the championship is slated to start on the 15th of May, Nigeria is placed in group B alongside Nigeria, Togo, and Burkina Faso.

The competition will also serve as the qualifier for the U17 African Cup of Nations.
