Maresca: Fully Fit Ndidi To Start Against QPR

Super Eagles combative midfielder Wilfred Ndidi could potentially return to the Leicester City squad for Saturday’s trip to Queens Park Rangers, BSNSports has sourced from Leicestermercury.

The Nigerian missed out on Tuesday night as City’s hard-fought 1-0 win over Sunderland sent them eight points clear at the top of the Championship. 

Ndidi was rested, as Enzo Maresca expects him to return to training before the end of the week.

For Ndidi, it’s touch and go. City plan to give him a rest for a few days to see if he can overcome what Maresca has described as a “little bit more than tiredness”.

"With Wilf, it’s tiredness, something a little bit more than tiredness, so he needs some days, and we don’t want to take risks for them. He could play (on Saturday), we’ll see.”
