Maritzburg Utd Appoints John Maduka As New Head Coach

South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) side Maritzburg United has named John Maduka as Head Coach after cutting ties with Royal AM, reports BSNSports.com.ng. 


Maduka, a retired Malawian player takes over from Ernst Middendorp who was fired last week. 


He signed a three-year contract until June 2025 with the Team Of Choice. 


“”It is a huge honour for me to represent and coach a club with the tradition and support base of Maritzburg United. I am very excited to get started. After discussions with the Chairman and the Board, I felt their passion, ambition and desire to be successful and I feel my ambition, together with my work ethics, can work to achieve the desired results for the club,” Maduka was quoted as saying by the club’s media department.
