Young African FC striker, Fitson Mayele has been named by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as the winner of the Goal Of The Week of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup quarter final games, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 28-year old striker was the hero against Rivers United after scoring the two goals that gave his team huge advantage of progressing into next round of the CAF Confederation Cup at the expense of Nigeria champions.

Rivers United Lost 0-2 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo on Sunday and would have a mountain to climb next Sunday in the second leg of the quarter-final of the annual continental club tournament.
