Media, Fans Denied Access To Super Eagles Training

By Admin

Football fans and media were barred from Super Eagles’ training on Thursday night as the team intensified preparations for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe.

The team’s first training session on Wednesday was opened to the media and fans.

Thursday’s session inside the main bowl of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium was however held behind closed doors.

The fans expressed disappointment with the decision of Jose Peseiro’s lead coaching crew.

It took the presence of security operatives at the main entrance of the stadium to maintain peace and order.

All the 23 invited players took part in the training session.

The Super Eagles will continue their preparation for the game against the True Patriots on Friday.
