The Saudi Pro League (SPL) has officially confirmed the departure of Michael Emenalo as its Head of Football, bringing an end to his contractual relationship with the league, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Emenalo, the former Nigerian international and ex-Chelsea technical director, played a key role in the rapid growth and transformation of the Saudi Pro League following his appointment.

During his tenure, he oversaw football operations and was instrumental in attracting several high-profile players and coaches to the league as part of Saudi Arabia's ambitious football development project.

The SPL announced that both parties have mutually agreed to conclude their contractual relationship, marking the end of Emenalo's stint in one of the most influential administrative positions in Saudi football.

His departure comes after a significant period in which the league gained global attention through major signings and increased international visibility.

The Saudi Pro League has yet to announce a successor, while Emenalo's next career move remains unconfirmed.
