Minister To Host Victorious Flying Eagles, Scrabble Team On Monday

Ministry of Youth and Sports Development under Hon. Sunday Dare has concluded plans to host the victorious two Nigeria representatives in the just concluded International competition, BSNsports.com.ng understand

The Nigeria scrabble team proved all bookmakers wrong by sweeping all the available medals in the championship that was just concluded in Accra, Ghana.

Despite starting the preparations late, Flying Eagles under coach Ladan Bosso emerged champion of the U20 WAFU B competition after they defeated the Benin Republic 3-1 in the final on Friday night.

The minister spoke to the two teams immediately they emerged champions commending them for their efforts and for making the country proud.

He further said they will be hosted on Monday in order to show the supports of the ministry in their quest.
