Minister of Sports Receives Uefa Champions League Trophy In Abuja

Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare on Wednesday received the Uefa Champions League trophy in his office at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
Receiving the trophy, Super Eagles legends Jay Jay Okocha and Daniel Amokachi led Clarence Seedorf to deliver it to the Minister.
"I want to appreciate Nigeria Breweries for considering Nigeria as one of the country that receive the trophy. Our august visitor, Clarence Seedorf who has won the trophy three times, i welcome you. The Uefa Champions League trophy Is one of the prestigious trophy in the World. Nigerians have made very significant contribution By Winning the title. The likes of Finidi George, Kanu Nwankwo and Mikel Obi have won the trophy." Dare said while addressing journalists.
The UEFA Champions League trophy tour, with Lagos as it's first stop as Abuja as the second city in Nigeria chosen for the movement of the second most important trophy in football.

The 2022 UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour presented by Heineken made it's first stop in Lagos at the Landmark events center, Victoria Island on the 12th of April, before making its way to The Hilton Congress Hall, Abuja on the 13th of April 2022.
