Ministry, NFF To Meet On Monday Over Super Eagles Coach

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will on Monday meet with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to resolve the appointment of the Super Eagles Coach, BSNSports.com.ng can report.


Though, the time and venue of the meeting are not made known to this reporter, however, the issue of who becomes the next 2013 African champions Coach will be resolved at the end of the meeting.


A reliable source from the Ministry of Sports told BSN Sports that the NFF submitted the report sheet of the four coaches that were interviewed. The Federation's decision to choose the third best (Jose Paseiro) leaving out the first and second best was rejected by the Ministry.


Stating reason Jose Paseiro was chosen, the NFF claimed that he was the only one among the four who is ready to receive the least amount of salary. 


The Ministry in order to Reposition the team after the World Cup disappointment the Ministry told the NFF to go for the best to start rebuilding the team ahead of their African Nations Cup qualifiers while the issue of salary will be taken care of by the Federal Government. The Buhari led government has agreed to henceforth take responsibility for payment of National team coach salary.
