Mizo : More Goals To Come This Season

It was a remarkable first game of the season for Bayelsa United forward, Robert Mizo, who showcased his brilliance and talent with a hat-trick against Akwa United, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

This happens in a Matchday 1 encounter of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenogoa. 

Robert, who was one of the standout players in the NPFL during the 2022/23 season, finished second to former Enyimba FC forward Emeka Obioma, returned for the new season with a bang against one of the contender for the league title. 

While speaking in an exclusive interview with BSNSports.com.ng, Robert applauded his teammates and coaches for making it possible to open the campaign in a positive way. 

" I'm happy and grateful, I also want to applaud my teammates and coaches, Robert said. 

" I'll say our victory against a tough side like Akwa United, was because of the attitude we showed together as a team."

" I'm overwhelmed finding the back of the net three times in a single game, which happens to be the first game of the season."

" It can only be God, " he concludes.

Robert Mizo, will be expecting to continue on his impressive start to the season, when Bayelsa United travel to Gombe this weekend to take on Doma United, in a Matchday 2 encounter, at the Pantami Stadium.
