Terem Moffi made a winning start to life in Portugal as FC Porto secured a hard-fought 1–0 victory over CD Nacional in Sunday night’s Primeira Liga encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian forward, who recently joined Porto on loan from French side OGC Nice, was introduced with 16 minutes remaining as the Dragons sought to preserve their slender advantage.

The decisive moment came on the hour mark when defender Jan Bednarek found the breakthrough, ensuring maximum points for the visitors.

Moffi’s compatriot, Zaidu Sanusi, also featured in the contest, contributing to a disciplined defensive display that kept Nacional at bay.

The victory keeps Porto at the summit of the league table with 59 points from 22 matches, strengthening their position in the title race as the season enters a crucial phase.
