Confederation of African Football (CAF) President Patrice Motsepe has commended Morocco for its consistent support in hosting continental tournaments, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Speaking on the country’s contributions, Motsepe said,

“When we ask countries to host tournaments, no one steps forward because they are afraid of losing money.

"Morocco consistently steps in and saves the situation. Morocco has strong infrastructure and a clear willingness to host.”

Morocco has a proven track record, having hosted the most recent African Cup of Nations as well as the last two editions of the African Women Cup of Nations.

Looking ahead, the nation will also host the next Women’s AFCON (WAFCON) and the U17 African Cup of Nations, further cementing its role as a reliable partner for CAF.
