The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has reaffirmed its confidence in national team head coach Mohamed Ouahbi, confirming that he will remain in charge of the Atlas Lions beyond the 2026 FIFA World Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The decision was approved during the FRMF Executive Board meeting held on Thursday and chaired by the federation's president, Fouzi Lekjaa.

Ouahbi's future had been the subject of speculation following Morocco's World Cup campaign, but the federation has now ended the uncertainty by backing the coach to continue leading the national team.

The FRMF's decision reflects its confidence in Ouahbi's leadership as Morocco begins preparations for upcoming international competitions, with the Atlas Lions expected to build on their recent progress on the global stage.
