Morocco Set To Build Four New Stadiums

Morocco has announced plans to construct four new modern stadiums across different cities as part of its continued investment in sports infrastructure and football development.

The new projects will see stadiums built in Casablanca, Nador, Khouribga and Dakhla, each designed to meet modern standards and expand access to quality sporting facilities across the country.

According to details released, the proposed Tissema Stadium in Casablanca will have a seating capacity of 20,000 and will be fully covered.

The project is estimated to cost 68 billion centimes, making it the most expensive of the four developments.

In Nador, a fully covered 20,000-capacity stadium will also be constructed at a cost of 50 billion centimes, while Khouribga Stadium will equally seat 20,000 spectators, with construction valued at 30 billion centimes.

Meanwhile, Dakhla Stadium will have a capacity of 15,000 seats and is projected to cost 21 billion centimes.

Unlike the others, the Dakhla facility will be partially covered. The stadium projects underline Morocco’s long-term vision to strengthen its sports infrastructure, boost domestic football, and position itself as a leading host for major continental and international sporting events.
