Moses Simon Gives Update On Injured Terem Moffi After Fan Attack

Super Eagles winger and Paris FC star Moses Simon has provided an update on the condition of OGC Nice forward Terem Moffi following the attack he suffered from disgruntled fans, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Moffi was reportedly assaulted by a group of supporters amid the club’s recent poor run of form, an incident that has sparked outrage across French football.

Speaking to RMC Sport, Simon revealed that Moffi is still dealing with the physical and emotional impact of the attack.

“I spoke with him; he’s hurt, and he’s still in a bit of pain,” Simon said.

“When something like this happens, it’s not good. For a big Ligue 1 club, it’s not good. For something like this to happen at a club in a top-five European league… It’s a real mess, so I really hope the club and the Federation will do something.”

The Nigerian international expressed hope that authorities will take swift action to address the situation and ensure better protection for players.

The incident has sparked renewed debate over fan behaviour and stadium security in European football.
