Motsepe To Attend Africa Forward Summit In Nairobi

CAF president Patrice Motsepe will attend the Africa Forward Summit in Nairobi on May 11 and 12, 2026, as preparations intensify for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Dr Motsepe is scheduled to speak at the summit on Monday afternoon, where discussions will centre on Africa’s development, innovation and strategic partnerships across the continent.

The CAF president is also expected to hold meetings with senior government and football officials from Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, the three nations set to co-host the 2027 TotalEnergies AFCON tournament.

The meetings are expected to focus on the progress of preparations, infrastructure development and organisational plans ahead of the continental showpiece.

The Africa Forward Summit aims to showcase Africa’s innovation, strengthen partnerships and promote solutions that support sustainable development across the continent.
