Portuguese gaffer Jose Mourinho has opened up about African players plying their trade across top clubs in Europe, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In the past and recently there have been complaints about African players having to leave their clubs to play in the African Cup of Nations every 2 years.

The former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss explained that it's not easy to have African players but if you get them, they are always different.

"If you are a top club and you want to go for an African player, don't think twice and go.

"You lose him for 6 weeks every 2 years but you can have a very special player because African players are different", he said.
