Muritala: I Want To Help Shooting Stars Win NPFL Title

Muritala Taye has revealed his major aim on his return to Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), BSNSports.com.ng reports.

"I'm here to help this club regain its rightful place in Nigerian football and on the continent," said the left-back.

"It always hurts when I see the team struggling in the past seasons but you know when you are outside, there is nothing you can do to help the situation.

"The main reason why I came back, is to help the club return to the top spot and I believe with what I am seeing so far, It is quite possible," the offa-born defender told shooting Stars' Media.

Taye Muritala played a vital role in the return of the Oluyole Warriors to the elite league during the 2020/21 season.

He thereafter, moved to the far north to join Wikki Tourists and later Akwa United of Uyo from where he is back with the Oluyole Warriors.
